Roles and Responsibilities
1. Strategy
Establish an effective organization through designing and implementing a fit-for-purpose structure and adequate manpower.
Develop and implement systems to motivate manpower through training programs, incentives, and recognition schemes.
2. Management
Develop, guide, direct, motivate, and manage the performance of all direct reports.
Assist the Operation Manager in managing projects professionally to achieve sustained positive image.
Provide hands-on leadership, creating a customer-focused culture based on delivering results, transparency, and trust.
3. Operational
Develop, implement, and communicate improved processes, policies, and procedures continuously, seeking greater efficiencies and higher customer satisfaction.
Maximize communication and synergy between the Group Leaders.
Organize and attend regular staff meetings to develop consistent standards in quality working and behavior.
4. Authority
Has full authority over the staff reporting to them.
Authorized to approve Purchase requests raised by team leaders or stores related to their trade operations.
Authorized to take any decisions on maintenance activities performed on site in line with company & site policies.
Authorized to call & discuss business-related issues with counterparts in client side.
Authorized to pre-approve or reject any leave requests from their teams.
Authorized to take any decisions on executing maintenance activities to achieve set targets and contractual KPIs.
Authorized to control, monitor & liaise with subcontractors engaged by the company.
Skills
Vast technical knowledge in water distribution networks and MECH regulations and controls.
Experience with various mechanical systems and equipment.
Strong management skills with problem-solving capabilities.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
High level of customer orientation and understanding.
Experience in using and following up operations with CAFM system.
Excellent computer skills in Word, Excel.
Knowledge of the local supplier market.
Requirements
Engineering Degree - Mechanical Engineering.
5-8 years experience in a facilities management company.
Exposure to a multicultural environment.
Proven leadership and operations management skills.
