Charterhouse are currently supporting a Trading & Logistics client, whom are in the process of looking to hire an Accounting & Finance Analyst, to join their centralised finance team based in Dubai.
With a reporting line to the Accounting Manager, this Analyst will be focused towards overseeing all the accounting aspects across the entity, to ensure all statutory and transactional duties are completed and are in alignment with any compliance regulation. This Analyst will also be required to develop areas of financial reporting through the process of data entry, journal management and accounts reconciliation. In conjunction, this role will also extend to the management of any consolidation whilst also delivering P&L accounts and any variance reporting across the systems and trading platforms.
Requirements:
To be considered for the role, the successful candidate will be a junior Accountant profile whom is either newly or part-qualified (ACA, ACCA or CPA) combined with a hands-on exposure to financial accounting and statutory reporting functions. The successful candidate will be able to deliver an understanding of strong Excel capabilities with an ability to deliver and refine both data management and analysis. Applicants will possess up to 3 years of work experience, ideally within a UAE regulated entity, where they have also been exposed to accounting systems/software combined with an ability to work across ERP frameworks. The Analyst shall also be required to manage complex transactions along the management of any reconciliation process whilst also being able to liaise and manage any senior reporting lines.
