Job Overview

As an Accounting and Reporting Advisory Senior, you will play a critical role in providing high-quality financial reporting and technical accounting advisory services to clients across multiple industries. You will be responsible for delivering IFRS-compliant solutions, reviewing financial statements, and supporting clients with complex accounting challenges. Working closely with engagement managers, you will contribute to the successful execution of accounting advisory projects and help businesses navigate technical reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional client service by delivering high-quality accounting advisory solutions in a timely manner
- Conduct in-depth research on IFRS and apply critical thinking to provide robust solutions for complex transactions
- Assist in the execution of accounting advisory projects, including financial statement reviews, accounting policies assessments, and IFRS impact evaluations
- Offer guidance on complex accounting matters such as acquisitions, mergers, and abnormal transactions
- Collaborate with engagement managers to develop account strategies and identify client needs
- Support clients in designing, implementing, and testing internal controls related to financial reporting
- Prepare detailed technical reports and presentations for client engagements
- Build and maintain strong professional relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional accounting standards

Required Skills and Experience

- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in public auditing and accounting, preferably with one of the Big Four firms
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and experience in providing accounting advisory services
- Experience in technical accounting, including mergers, acquisitions, and complex financial reporting matters
- Proven ability to write detailed technical reports and present findings to clients
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong leadership and communication skills to engage effectively with clients and team members
- Ability to manage multiple assignments and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- International accounting qualification is preferred (CA, ACCA, or CPA), with CA being highly desirable
- Fluent in English (reading, speaking, and writing), with preference given to bilingual candidates (Arabic/English)
