Overview of the Role
The Financial Analyst will provide broad support to the BP&A Team in managing core planning and analysis activities. Responsibilities span the
Strategic Plan, Budget and Forecasts, together with financial reporting, analysis, automation support and related administrative requirements.
Success in the position depends on completing financial planning responsibilities accurately and within agreed timelines, proactively following up with the business and maintaining effective working relationships with relevant stakeholders.
What You Will Do
Planning, Budgeting and Forecasting
* Assist the BP&A Team with management of the Strategic Plan, Budget and Forecasts.
* Support planning cycles by coordinating and consolidating required financial information.
* Ensure assigned planning responsibilities are completed accurately and on time.
* Follow up proactively with relevant business stakeholders on required financial inputs and deliverables.
Reporting and Financial Analysis
* Support the consolidation of financial information for management reporting.
* Assist with the preparation and circulation of financial reports.
* Provide financial analysis support to the BP&A Team as required.
* Help maintain accurate and organized financial information for planning and reporting activities.
* Support contingency planning activities associated with the team\'s financial planning responsibilities.
Automation and Team Support
* Assist with automation initiatives intended to improve financial planning and reporting processes.
* Coordinate with team members and stakeholders to support BP&A objectives.
* Carry out administrative activities required for the effective operation of the team.
* Maintain timely communication and follow-up on assigned business requirements.
