Required Experience

• Experience with Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce), PHP, CSS, SAAS, HTML, JavaScript, and MySQL.
• Experience in Rest API Development (XML, REST & Web API) using PHP or any other language.
• Experience in the development of new functions, maintenance, and participation in technical projects.
• Expertise in Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce) template coding.
• Experience in configuring and building Magento 2 (Adobe Commerce) eCommerce websites.
• Expertise in integration of Payment Gateway and shipping extensions.
• Proficient in the entire eCommerce development lifecycle.
• Bridging the gap between graphic design, content creation, and eCommerce technical implementation.
• Experience in developing extensions for the community edition.
• Adapting third-party extensions.
• Troubleshooting integration issues and setting performance goals and tasks.
• In-depth understanding of UX/UI trends.
• Understanding GIT version control.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Participation in software design activities, which requires studying and contributing to the development of design blueprints; mainly design diagrams and API specifications.
• Full-stack software development using various programming languages and frameworks includes both front-end and back-end.
• Software deployment onto various types of physical and virtualized environments; which includes providing deployment descriptors and initialization scripts to enable automated continuous integration and delivery.
• Contribution to the development of the team, by providing mentorship and support, and sharing technical knowledge.
• Technical documentation at all levels; including design and implementation documents, as well as standardized code comments.
• Support & maintenance of developed components when and as needed.
• Contribution to business development and pre-sales activities as needed.
• This includes participating in technical discussions and running product demos.
• Contribution to the development and optimization of the needed development environments.
• Develop and maintain API integrations with external systems (biller payments, payment gateways, shipping providers, ERP, CRM, etc.)

Additional good to have

• Magento2 Certification.
• Experienced in Laravel, and PHP frameworks.


Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science and Engineering.
• Minimum of 6+ years’ experience in Magento2 (Community Edition).
• Experience in Magento 2 frontend and backend frameworks and e-commerce experience is a must.
• Experience with Ajax and jQuery libraries technologies, including Bootstrap, CSS3, etc.
• Experience in Rest API Development
• React JS/Node JS/VueJs frameworks are a plus.
