Role Context
The Head of HR serves as a strategic advisor to the CEO and leadership team, shaping the people agenda across Al-Futtaim Finance Company. This role is responsible for aligning HR strategy with business growth, strengthening organizational capability, managing regulatory compliance, and building a high-performance culture within a regulated financial services environment while maintaining alignment with Group HR standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and execute the HR strategy and annual people plan aligned with the Al-Futtaim Finance Company growth agenda
* Support organization design, workforce planning, and operating model transformation across the business
* Build and maintain a high-performance, risk-aware culture suited to financial services operations
* Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO and senior leadership team on people strategy, leadership, and organizational priorities
* Translate business objectives into workforce plans, succession pipelines, and leadership development actions
* Coach senior leaders on performance management, talent retention, engagement, conduct, and succession planning
* Lead workforce planning across specialist financial services talent areas and critical business functions
* Develop retention strategies and succession plans for high-impact and leadership roles
* Oversee performance management frameworks, KPIs, reward governance, incentives, and commission structures
* Partner with Group Rewards and remuneration boards to ensure compensation compliance and market competitiveness
* Lead employee relations matters while working closely with Risk, Compliance, and Legal teams
* Strengthen onboarding, leadership development, and technical capability-building across the organization
* Drive Emiratisation strategy and support diversity, inclusion, and merit-based talent development
Ideal Profile
* Proven experience as Head of HR or Senior HR Business Partner within the Financial Services sector
* Strong background working in regulated corporate environments with governance and compliance responsibilities
* Demonstrated success in influencing senior stakeholders and leadership teams across matrix organizations
* Strong understanding of workforce planning, talent strategy, compensation governance, and HR transformation
* Experience managing employee relations, organizational development, and people-related risk
* Strong leadership presence with the ability to guide executive decision-making
* Excellent communication, advisory, and relationship management skills
* Strategic mindset with commercial awareness and operational discipline
