Position Overview
The Head of Talent Acquisition is responsible for leading the end-to-end talent acquisition strategy for the Financial Services division, ensuring the organization attracts, hires, and retains high-impact talent across regulated business functions. This role acts as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, shaping workforce strategy, executive hiring governance, employer branding, and TA operating models while driving innovation, compliance, and hiring excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Define and execute a multi-year Talent Acquisition strategy aligned with financial services growth plans, regulatory requirements, and digital transformation goals
* Partner with HR and business leadership on workforce planning, succession pipelines, and capability mapping for critical and specialist roles
* Provide strategic market insights on talent availability, hiring risks, and recruitment feasibility to support leadership decisions
* Lead employer value proposition development and talent branding strategies for financial services talent segments
* Own executive and critical hiring processes including role scoping, search strategy, assessment frameworks, and governance standards
* Advise leadership on organizational design, role benchmarking, and external market positioning for senior appointments
* Ensure compliance and governance for regulated roles, including fit-and-proper requirements and internal policy alignment
* Design and continuously improve scalable TA operating models balancing internal capability and strategic external partnerships
* Drive AI adoption, automation, and advanced analytics to improve hiring quality, speed, and decision-making
* Build and lead a high-performing Talent Acquisition leadership team focused on strategic impact and operational excellence
* Develop future TA leaders while embedding a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement
* Represent the organization externally within financial services talent markets and monitor trends across fintech, digital banking, and emerging skills
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree required in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related discipline
* Master’s degree or advanced HR and leadership certifications preferred
* Minimum 12 to 15+ years of Talent Acquisition experience with significant exposure to Financial Services or regulated industries
* Proven senior leadership experience managing enterprise-level hiring agendas and executive stakeholder relationships
* Strong background in designing TA strategies, operating models, and large-scale hiring transformations
* Deep understanding of executive hiring governance, workforce planning, and talent architecture
* Strong commercial awareness and market intelligence capabilities
* Excellent leadership presence with strong executive influence and decision-making ability
