Project Manager - Payment Services
We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to lead and oversee payment services projects in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in managing large-scale, complex projects related to card processing, payment networks, and financial services. This role requires expertise in Agile methodologies, stakeholder management, and risk assessment to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute project plans, including timelines, milestones, and budgets, for payment services projects.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope, goals, and deliverables for both issuing and acquiring projects.
- Manage internal teams, clients, and third-party vendors to align project requirements and expectations.
- Ensure efficient resource allocation and monitor project performance throughout the lifecycle.
- Foster strong relationships with stakeholders and provide timely project updates.
- Identify and assess risks, implementing mitigation strategies to avoid project disruptions.
- Handle changes in project scope, schedule, and costs proactively.
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including reports, meeting minutes, and progress updates.
- Coach multiple project teams, ensuring best practices in Agile methodologies and cross-functional collaboration.
- Track program and project KPIs to improve visibility across interdependent teams.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices in financial services and payments.
Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- 8+ years of experience in project management, specifically managing large-scale software or web development projects.
- PMP certification preferred; PMI-ACP, CSM, SAFe, or equivalent Agile certification is an advantage.
- Strong understanding of payment processing systems, card networks, and card issuance technologies.
- Proficiency in project management tools such as Jira, Microsoft Project, or similar.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with a proven track record of inspiring teams and driving project success.
- Experience managing cross-functional teams and navigating regulatory frameworks in payment services.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving industry and adapt to changing requirements.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in financial institutions, fintech companies, or payment technology firms.
- Knowledge of payment security standards, compliance regulations, and risk management.
- Experience with pilot initiatives and IT production operations.
