Job Overview

As a Client Acceptance Associate, you will play a key role in Deloitte’s Quality and Risk Management function, ensuring that client acceptance and onboarding procedures comply with local and international regulations. You will support due diligence processes, perform risk assessments, and ensure adherence to Deloitte’s policies, contributing to the firm’s strong culture of integrity and risk management.

Key Responsibilities

- Conduct client acceptance and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with Deloitte’s global and local regulatory policies
- Perform Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti Money Laundering (AML) due diligence for new and existing clients
- Identify and escalate any red flags, high risk clients, and unusual transactions to senior management
- Maintain accurate and updated client risk assessment records
- Assist in monitoring regulatory changes and updating policies accordingly
- Collaborate with cross functional teams to ensure alignment with compliance procedures
- Manage the centralized client acceptance mailbox and respond to compliance related inquiries
- Prepare detailed risk reports and present findings to leadership
- Support training sessions to educate internal teams on risk policies and client onboarding procedures

Required Skills and Experience

- UAE National with a family book
- Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field
- Prior experience in compliance, risk management, KYC or AML, or due diligence is preferred
- Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and financial compliance policies
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word, PowerPoint and data analysis tools
- Strong analytical, problem solving, and communication skills
- Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast paced environment
- Proficiency in English is required, knowledge of Arabic is an advantage
