Key Accountabilities
Prepare Company's budgets & forecasts and manage related activities on a periodic basis
Develop effective budget templates, formats and budget guidelines for application
Review and verify the purchase requests and allocate the budget for proper control and utilization
Prepare/Initiate all due payments via Cheque/Transfer and facilitate further review and signatures
Validate the Asset creation form with the budgeted amount and create asset IDs
Review project, capex & opex budgets and conduct variance analysis periodically to analyse the spending trends
Comply with DOA (Delegation Of Authority) matrix applicable for the preparation of budget and forecast
Prepare customer pricing, P&L and assumptions for various projects
Contribute and support on various activities related to month-end and year-end closing for their timely completion
Handle all type of banking facilities and maintain proper documentation and registers for LCs, APGs, PWBs etc.
Ensure the safe custody of supplier Guarantees, etc and monitor its expiry against with service/goods receipt
Maintain the confidentiality of documents and transaction wherever applicable
Collaborate with internal and external parties wherever necessary on related matters
Prepare and submit cash flow and other related management reports from time to time
Deliver valid substantial reports and documents to support external and internal audits for their timely completion
Keep abreast with applicable tax laws, financial laws, internal policies and other government regulations
Provide technical support, training, advice and guidance to junior team members in achieving their set KPIs and deliverables
Recognise opportunities for continuous improvement and provide recommendations to improve and enhance the efficiency of the financial process and procedures
Perform other finance operation activities as directed by Chief Accountant in accordance with company policy
Knowledge/Qualification & Experience
Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, budgeting and forecasting
Bachelor degree in Accounting / Finance or equivalent
Preferred: Certified or partially qualified in any of the professional certification in accountancy (CPA, CA, CMA, ACCA, CIMA etc.)
