This role is responsible for managing daily butchery and warehouse activities, ensuring high standards in meat handling, storage, and processing. The supervisor plays a key role in balancing operational efficiency with commercial outcomes by reducing waste, improving yield, and maintaining strict hygiene and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
* Supervise daily butchery operations including meat cutting, processing, packaging, and storage
* Lead warehouse floor activities and coordinate team members to ensure smooth operations
* Monitor stock on hand and conduct audits to maintain accurate inventory records
* Analyze wastage and implement strategies to improve yield and reduce losses
* Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics for temperature-sensitive goods
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and operational standards
* Optimize warehouse layout and workflows to improve efficiency and storage utilization
* Maintain equipment and ensure proper functioning of butchery facilities
* Prepare operational reports and analyze performance metrics using Excel tools

* 3 to 5 years of experience in warehouse, food processing, or distribution center operations
* Hands-on experience in butchery and meat processing operations
* Proven ability to lead and manage teams in a fast-paced environment
