Position Overview
GMG is hiring a Senior Manager - Factory Finance in Dubai, UAE to manage end-to-end financial operations at factory level and serve as a key finance partner to manufacturing operations. This hands-on role is responsible for financial control, reporting, factory costing, inventory accounting, budgeting, compliance, and operational finance support. The position will work closely with Factory Operations to strengthen cost discipline, identify efficiencies, protect margins, and ensure factory finance activities remain aligned with GMG Group policies, controls, and governance standards.

Financial Control and Compliance
* Ensure factory finance activities comply with GMG Group finance policies, internal controls, and governance frameworks.
* Maintain financial discipline across manufacturing transactions, including inventory, procurement, and production costing.
* Lead and support internal and external audits and ensure audit findings are addressed within required timelines.
* Maintain appropriate control mechanisms and regular reconciliations to safeguard company assets.
* Reinforce compliance and financial accountability throughout factory operations.
Factory Financial Operations and Reporting
The Senior Manager will oversee the factory finance cycle while ensuring management receives accurate and timely financial information for operational decision-making.
* Manage end-to-end factory finance operations, including month-end closing, journal entries, and balance sheet reconciliations.
* Deliver timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with Group timelines and standards.
* Monitor manufacturing financial indicators such as cost per unit, production yield, wastage, and variances.
* Identify and communicate financial risks and opportunities arising from factory performance.
* Maintain transparency and accuracy in inventory accounting and valuation.
Cost Management and Operational Efficiency
* Partner with Factory Operations to identify cost optimization opportunities across materials, labor, and manufacturing overheads.
* Analyze production costs and variances to identify inefficiencies and provide actionable financial insights.
* Track factory expenditure against approved budgets and financial plans.
* Support initiatives aimed at improving manufacturing productivity and reducing waste.
* Provide financial analysis that supports margin improvement and stronger operational decisions.
Business Partnering
The role acts as a finance partner to Factory Operations, combining financial governance with practical manufacturing insight. The Senior Manager will support operational decision-making through accurate financial analysis, cost visibility, budget control, and a detailed understanding of factory performance.
Qualifications and Experience
* Bachelor\'s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related discipline.
* Master\'s degree is an advantage.
* 8-12 years of progressive experience in finance roles.
* Significant exposure to manufacturing or factory environments.
* Proven experience managing factory-level finance operations.
* Experience working within large, structured organizations with established governance frameworks.
* Fluency in written and spoken English is mandatory.
* Professional accounting qualification such as CA, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is preferred.
* Costing or manufacturing-related certifications are an advantage.
