Role Context
The English Teacher will help students develop strong reading, writing, speaking and comprehension skills across primary and secondary levels. The role requires an educator

Key Responsibilities
Plan and deliver English lessons in line with school curriculum requirements.
Teach students across primary and secondary phases according to assigned classes.
Develop reading comprehension, vocabulary, grammar and written communication skills.
Build students\' confidence in speaking, discussion and presentation.
Teach structured writing techniques appropriate to different year groups.
Introduce students to age-appropriate fiction, nonfiction, poetry and other literary texts.
Support students in analysing texts and identifying key themes, ideas and language features.
Develop spelling, punctuation and sentence construction through targeted instruction.
Prepare lesson plans that reflect clear learning objectives and measurable outcomes.
Adapt classroom activities to meet different levels of student ability.
Provide additional academic support to learners who require intervention.
Extend higher-performing students through more challenging reading and writing tasks.
Use questioning, discussion and collaborative activities to strengthen engagement.
Prepare worksheets, assignments, projects and assessment materials.
Assess student work through written tasks, tests, presentations and class participation.
Maintain accurate academic records and monitor individual progress.
Provide constructive feedback that helps students improve language accuracy and expression.
Use assessment results to identify learning gaps and adjust future teaching.
Maintain effective classroom management and positive learning routines.
Create an inclusive classroom where students are encouraged to participate confidently.
Use digital learning tools and multimedia resources where appropriate.
Encourage independent reading and wider engagement with English language materials.
Support examination preparation for relevant secondary classes where required.
Collaborate with English department colleagues on curriculum planning and teaching resources.

Ideal Profile
Candidates should hold a bachelor\'s degree or master\'s degree in English.
A B.Ed qualification is preferred and highly relevant for this position.
Applicants should have a minimum of 1 year of teaching experience in the United Arab Emirates.
Previous experience teaching within a British Curriculum school will be advantageous.
The successful candidate should demonstrate excellent written and spoken English.
