Key Responsibilities
* Implement approved price survey schedules, project plans, and daily field tasks in line with regulations, directives, and statistical methodologies.
* Collect price data from field, organizational, and record-based sources, then verify completeness and enter the information into statistical systems.
* Prepare and manage shadow samples for goods, services, sales outlets, and data sources according to approved survey controls.
* Audit and analyze collected data, monitor price movements, review quality issues, and document updates within the required systems.
* Conduct coding, matching, and classification activities using approved statistical standards and project methodologies.
* Prepare samples, maps, statistical forms, survey tools, and other operational requirements for efficient price survey execution.
* Coordinate with target entities, provide official correspondence, and support communication needed for smooth project delivery.
* Track field and office progress, prepare periodic reports, and highlight completion levels, challenges, obstacles, and corrective actions.
* Support researchers during fieldwork by sharing guidance, resolving operational issues, and coordinating with supervisors when needed.
* Monitor the readiness and performance of statistical systems, ensuring they meet work directives and operational requirements.
* Receive, organize, and safeguard field supplies such as tablets and survey equipment during and after field operations.
* Attend task force meetings, follow up on agreed decisions, and participate in training sessions related to new methodologies and performance improvement.
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree in Statistics, Economics, Business Administration, Data Management, or a related discipline.
* Practical experience in price surveys, statistical research, field data collection, government projects, or market research operations.
* Good understanding of survey methodologies, statistical classifications, sampling processes, and fieldwork controls.
* Ability to collect, check, sort, code, match, and enter large volumes of data with strong attention to accuracy.
* Comfortable working with electronic survey systems, tablets, statistical forms, and structured reporting tools.
* Strong coordination skills for dealing with supervisors, researchers, target entities, and internal project teams.
* Able to prepare clear progress reports and explain field challenges, data gaps, and completion status professionally.
