Job Overview
The Strapi Developer will architect, develop, and maintain API-first content platforms using Strapi Headless CMS. You will integrate with modern frontends and backend services, enforce security and accessibility standards, and ensure reliable, high-performance delivery for government digital channels.
Key Responsibilities
* Design, develop, and maintain Strapi applications and REST-GraphQL APIs
* Customize Strapi plugins, roles, and permissions to meet service requirements
* Integrate Strapi with React, Angular, or Vue frontends and backend services
* Implement API-driven content delivery for web, mobile, and other channels
* Configure role-based access control, audit logs, and secure coding practices
* Support content teams with workflows, publishing, and taxonomy structures
* Monitor performance, uptime, and scalability; tune caching and CDNs
* Maintain documentation, version control, CI-CD pipelines, and IaC scripts
* Ensure compliance with cybersecurity, data protection, and accessibility standards
* Mentor junior developers and champion headless CMS best practices
Candidate Requirements
* Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field
* Proven experience as a Strapi Developer or in headless CMS development
* Strong Node.js and JavaScript-TypeScript skills; proficiency with REST and GraphQL
* Hands-on integration with React, Vue, or Angular
* Familiarity with Azure or AWS, CI-CD workflows, and containerization
* Working knowledge of PostgreSQL, MongoDB, or MySQL
* Understanding of security hardening, data privacy, and WCAG accessibility
* Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills
