Amazon Now is developing a rapid-delivery model that enables customers to discover and receive groceries and everyday essentials quickly and reliably. This role will help establish the operating foundation required to scale the service while maintaining consistent standards across stores.
The Team Lead will connect frontline execution with wider logistics, technology, customer service and finance activities. Decisions made in this position will directly affect order accuracy, delivery speed, operating efficiency and the experience of customers and associates.
Key Responsibilities
The Team Lead will maintain control of daily store performance while building practices that support future growth.
* Manage end-to-end operations for one large site or a group of smaller sites.
* Supervise store activities and ensure dependable order fulfilment.
* Achieve customer-facing performance metrics without exceeding cost targets.
* Maintain high standards of workplace safety and team morale.
* Set clear performance expectations for associates and monitor their progress.
* Provide regular coaching, feedback and performance support.
* Prepare and implement associate training and development plans.
* Identify operational bottlenecks and introduce practical improvements.
* Sustain performance gains by standardizing successful processes.
* Complete daily 4M and 5S audits across assigned stores.
* Coordinate with logistics, customer service, technology and finance teams.
* Escalate significant service, staffing or safety concerns appropriately.
* Stand in for the Area Manager whenever leadership coverage is required.
Ideal Profile

* High school diploma.
* Previous logistics or operations experience is preferred.
