Key Responsibilities:
Perform surgical procedures to remove tumors, repair injuries, and treat neurological disorders.
Collaborate with other specialists, such as neurologists and radiologists, to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
Interpret diagnostic tests, such as MRI and CT scans, to accurately diagnose conditions.
Provide pre-operative and post-operative care to patients, including counseling and support.
Stay abreast of the latest advancements in neurosurgical techniques through attending conferences and participating in continuing education.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
Supervise and train junior medical staff.
Requirements:
Medical degree and completion of a recognized neurosurgical residency program.
Valid medical license to practice as a Consultant Neurosurgeon.
Proven experience as a Consultant Neurosurgeon, with a track record of successfully performing complex neurosurgical procedures.
Excellent diagnostic skills and ability to interpret imaging tests.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
