What You’ll Do
* Supervise and coordinate health and safety activities across the facility
* Prepare and maintain safety checklists and ensure compliance at all times
* Monitor and enforce the use of PPE for all staff
* Conduct daily facility inspections and identify risks or hazards
* Report incidents of indiscipline or unsafe practices to management
* Organize and deliver safety inductions and awareness training sessions
* Record and manage incident and accident reports
* Inspect, maintain, and arrange periodic checks for safety equipment and tools
* Oversee and replenish first aid kits, and provide first aid when necessary
* Lead emergency evacuation drills and ensure exit routes remain accessible
* Monitor high-risk activities and ensure safe practices are followed
* Implement waste management and workplace hygiene systems
Ideal Profile
* Bachelor’s degree with NEBOSH or IOSH certification
* Minimum of mid-level professional experience in health and safety
* Strong communication and presentation skills
* Ability to manage discipline and team coordination effectively
* Proactive, energetic, and detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement
* Skilled in MS Office with strong reporting and documentation abilities
