What Does a Specialist Cardiologist Do?
As a Specialist Cardiologist at HealthHub’s Qusais Clinic, you will be responsible for providing comprehensive cardiac diagnostics and treatments. You will work alongside general practitioners and other specialists to improve health outcomes for a diverse patient population across Dubai.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Evaluate and diagnose a range of cardiovascular conditions using non-invasive diagnostic tools
- Prescribe treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs, focusing on long-term cardiac health
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver integrated patient care
- Provide emergency interventions and lifestyle recommendations to manage risk factors
- Follow up with patients on their progress and adjust treatment as needed
- Maintain detailed records in compliance with regulatory and clinic standards
- Contribute to clinical audits and continuous improvement initiatives
- Participate in medical training programs and conferences to stay current in the field
What Skills Are Needed for a Cardiologist in Dubai?
Education:
- MBBS or MBChB from an accredited medical institution
- Completion of a cardiology specialty program recognized by DHA, HAAD, or MOH UAE
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of specialist-level cardiology experience post-qualification
- Hands-on experience with advanced diagnostic tools and cardiac assessments
Certifications & Skills:
- Certified in Basic and Advanced Life Support (BLS & ACLS)
- Fluent in English (Arabic is an advantage)
- Exceptional patient communication and empathy
- Strong teamwork and organizational skills
- High computer literacy for electronic medical records and digital diagnostics
