What Does a Specialist Dermatologist Do?
As a Specialist Dermatologist at HealthHub Clinics by Al-Futtaim, you will deliver exceptional dermatological care with a focus on diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of various skin, hair, and cosmetic conditions. You will also support advanced hair restoration and cosmetic procedures, ensuring each patient receives personalized, high-quality treatment.
What Are the Key Responsibilities?
- Evaluate and diagnose skin disorders through thorough assessments and screening
- Utilize patient history and clinical data to guide treatment plans
- Prescribe medications and perform non-invasive skin procedures
- Conduct hair restoration consultations and treatments
- Communicate treatment options and educate patients on prevention and aftercare
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as needed
- Collaborate with other specialists in a multidisciplinary clinical environment
- Document medical records accurately and maintain compliance
- Stay up-to-date with dermatology research and contribute to continuous improvement
What Skills Are Needed for a Dermatologist in Dubai?
Education:
- MBBS or MBChB from an accredited institution
- Completion of a dermatology specialty recognized by DHA, HAAD, or MOH UAE
Experience:
- Minimum 5+ years of specialist-level experience in dermatology
- Clinical experience in skin and hair disorders, cosmetic dermatology, and non-invasive procedures
Certifications & Skills:
- Certification in Basic and Advanced Life Support
- Fluent in English (Arabic is a strong advantage)
- Excellent communication and bedside manner
- Strong computer literacy for EMR systems and documentation
- Publications in peer-reviewed journals are a plus
