Welfare and Wellbeing Officer

We are looking for a dedicated Welfare and Wellbeing Officer to ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental (HSE) standards for RAKEZ clients. This role focuses on promoting and enforcing regulations that support the welfare and wellbeing of operations while ensuring adherence to industry best practices.

Job Location: Ras Al Khaimah, United Arab Emirates

Key Responsibilities
- Implement, monitor, and enforce HSE regulations to enhance client welfare and operational safety.
- Conduct routine inspections and audits to assess compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
- Develop and execute wellbeing programs that foster a positive work environment.
- Provide guidance and training to clients on best practices related to workplace safety, health, and employee wellbeing.
- Investigate and report on workplace incidents, ensuring preventive measures are put in place.
- Coordinate with regulatory authorities to maintain up-to-date compliance with legal and safety requirements.
- Promote mental and physical wellbeing initiatives to improve employee engagement and productivity.
- Work closely with internal teams and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement in welfare programs.
- Develop policies and procedures aimed at fostering a safe and inclusive work environment.

Required Skills and Experience
- Bachelor\'s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Human Resources, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in workplace welfare, health and safety, or employee wellbeing.
- Strong understanding of HSE regulations and compliance standards in the UAE.
- Experience in developing and implementing health and wellness programs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to engage with employees and management.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for risk assessment and compliance audits.
- Ability to work collaboratively with multiple teams to drive wellbeing initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certifications in Health & Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH) are highly desirable.
- Experience working in corporate wellness or HSE-focused roles within a regulatory or industrial setting.
- Knowledge of UAE labor laws and employee rights related to workplace welfare.
