Job Overview
The Assistant Director for Residential Education provides strategic direction and leadership for the residential life program at NYUAD. The role is focused on implementing a data-informed residential curriculum, supervising Residential College Directors, and leading staff training and professional development. The position also requires direct involvement in student conduct, budget oversight, and 24/7 on-call crisis response. Key Responsibilities

* Supervise and support four Residential College Directors through one-on-ones, team meetings, and performance planning
* Lead the design, execution, and assessment of the Residential Education curriculum and related student engagement programs

* Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and training for Resident Assistants and Senior RAs
* Develop and monitor residence hall operating budgets and student programming allocations

* Act as a conduct hearing officer for mid-level residential cases, promoting restorative justice and educational outcomes

* Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in Student Affairs or related field strongly preferred
* Minimum 5 years of experience in student housing/residential life, with at least 2 years of professional staff supervision
