Research Focus
The Junior Research Scientist will contribute to interdisciplinary research examining topics at
the intersection of psychology, neuroscience, and linguistics.
The project involves collaboration between researchers at NYU Abu Dhabi and stakeholders at the National Academy of Childhood Development, with research activities taking place across NYUAD and NACD facilities.
Key Responsibilities
* Contribute to the design and implementation of research studies.
* Support the preparation of experimental materials and research stimuli.
* Participate in participant recruitment and data collection activities.
* Conduct and support research data analysis.
* Work closely with NYU Abu Dhabi researchers and NACD stakeholders.
* Interact directly with Emirati research participants across different age groups.
* Support research involving local populations.
* Contribute to studies related to psychology, neuroscience, linguistics, and developmental research.
* Maintain accurate and well-organized research materials and data.
* Apply strong attention to detail throughout experimental and research activities.
* Communicate effectively and sensitively with research participants and project collaborators.
Required Qualifications

* Be Emirati.
* Hold a Bachelor\'s degree or equivalent.
* Have an academic background relevant to psychology, neuroscience, linguistics, developmental psychology, or a related area.
* Demonstrate strong organizational skills.
* Maintain a high level of attention to detail.
* Possess communication skills suitable for direct interaction with research participants.
* Demonstrate cultural sensitivity when working with local populations.
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
A Master\'s degree is preferred.
