Research Focus
The Post-Doctoral Associate will contribute to the
UAE Healthy Future Study, which combines genomic information with clinical and lifestyle phenotypes to investigate determinants of complex diseases among Emirati nationals.
The research will provide opportunities to work across:
* Population genomics.

* Multi-omics datasets.

Research Responsibilities
The successful candidate will take an active role in population genomic research and analysis within the Public Health Research Center.
Key responsibilities include:
* Lead and contribute to large-scale population genomic analyses.
* Analyze whole-genome sequencing datasets.
* Work with multi-omics data relevant to complex traits and diseases.
* Investigate the genetic architecture of complex traits.
* Integrate genomic analyses with available clinical and lifestyle phenotypes.
* Conduct computational analyses using high-performance computing infrastructure.
* Contribute to multidisciplinary research investigating genetic, environmental, and lifestyle determinants of complex diseases.
* Interpret findings from large and complex genomic datasets.

Required Qualifications
Applicants must hold a PhD in one of the following fields or a closely related discipline:
* Human Genetics.
* Genetic Epidemiology.
* Biostatistics.
* Computational Biology.
* Related quantitative or genomic research fields.
Applicants must be within five years of receiving their PhD.
Research and Technical Experience
Candidates must demonstrate:
* Experience analyzing large-scale genomic datasets.
* Experience conducting genomic analyses in high-performance computing environments.
* Strong research capability in a field relevant to population genomics.
* A strong academic publication record.
