Postdoctoral Associate – Mathematical Physics and Quantum Theory
The Mathematics Program in the Science Division at New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate to conduct research in one or more of the following areas: Mathematical Physics, Spectral Theory, Quantum Chaos, Large Graphs, and Quantum Walks. Related fields, such as Quantum Information, may also be considered. This position is funded through the research grants of Mostafa Sabri.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct research in Mathematical Physics, Spectral Theory, Quantum Chaos, or related fields
- Collaborate with mathematicians and researchers on advanced mathematical problems
- Participate in NYUAD\'s active mathematics research community, including weekly seminars
- Contribute to high-impact publications and present research at international conferences
- Engage in collaborative projects with Mostafa Sabri and the Mathematics Program
Required Skills and Experience:
Education:
- A PhD in Mathematics, with a strong background in one of the relevant topics
- PhD holders in Physics or Computer Science may also be considered if they demonstrate the ability to collaborate on mathematical research
Experience:
- Strong academic record and a track record of high-quality research in Mathematical Physics or related areas
- Prior experience in collaborative research projects is highly desirable
Skills:
- Proficiency in advanced mathematical modeling and theoretical analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
