Postdoctoral Associate – Social Science Experimental Research
The Social Science Experimental Laboratory at New York University Abu Dhabi is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to contribute to experimental research in social sciences. The position offers an opportunity to conduct cutting-edge research in economics, political science, and sociology while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team of scholars.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct experimental research using laboratory, lab-in-the-field, online, and field methods
- Publish research in leading peer-reviewed social science and interdisciplinary journals
- Collaborate with faculty affiliated with the Social Science Experimental Laboratory on research projects
- Dedicate up to 20 percent of time to lab-related tasks, including supporting ongoing experiments and maintaining research infrastructure
- Contribute to the academic community by participating in seminars, conferences, and interdisciplinary discussions
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- A PhD in economics or a related field
Experience:
- Expertise in experimental methods applied to social science research
- Previous experience conducting experimental research in social sciences, including laboratory and field experiments
- Strong track record of publishing in academic journals
Skills:
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and research skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a multidisciplinary research environment
- Strong communication skills in English
- Scientific creativity and a desire to explore the foundations of human behavior through experimentation
