This position drives next-generation research at the intersection of artificial intelligence and materials science. The selected candidate will independently lead computational research projects that support smart material development, predictive modeling, and advanced engineering applications. Key Responsibilities
* Lead independent projects focused on generative AI for materials discovery and optimization
* Build advanced machine learning models to establish structure-property relationships in materials science

* Collaborate with the Smart Materials Lab and the Center for Smart Engineering Materials on multidisciplinary research initiatives

* Support scientific workshops and contribute to cross-disciplinary academic collaborations

Ideal Profile
* PhD in Materials Science, Chemistry, Physics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline
* Candidates must be within the first five years after PhD completion
