Postdoctoral Researcher – Urban Fairness and Computational Analysis
The Center for Interacting Urban Networks at New York University Abu Dhabi is seeking a postdoctoral researcher to contribute to interdisciplinary research on urban fairness. This position involves analyzing urban systems, integrating computational methodologies, and collaborating with researchers across diverse themes, such as mobility and uncertainty.

Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct interdisciplinary research on fairness in urban systems, integrating data-driven methodologies
- Collaborate with researchers across multiple domains, including mobility, uncertainty, and sustainability
- Develop computational models to analyze fairness in urban policies and infrastructure
- Contribute to the development of real-world solutions for urban challenges in Abu Dhabi and beyond
- Manage datasets and perform advanced statistical analysis
- Publish research findings in high-impact academic journals and present at international conferences
Required Skills and Experience
Education:
- A PhD in a quantitative field such as social sciences, computer science, engineering, or a related discipline
Experience:
- Experience working in interdisciplinary research teams
- Strong background in computational modeling and data management
- Demonstrated ability to publish in peer-reviewed journals
Skills:
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, R, or MATLAB for data analysis
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
