Position Overview
The Assistant Nurse in Dubai will support physicians and registered nurses in delivering safe, effective, and compassionate outpatient care at Al-Futtaim Health\'s Discovery Gardens clinic. The position involves monitoring patients, assisting with clinical procedures, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting the smooth operation of a busy healthcare environment.
This clinic-based nursing role requires DHA licensing or eligibility, valid Basic Life Support certification, and practical experience in patient care. The successful candidate will protect patient dignity, follow infection-control standards, and communicate important clinical updates promptly to the multidisciplinary team.

What
You\'ll Do
* Support physicians and registered nurses in providing high-quality outpatient care.
* Welcome patients and help prepare them for assessments, examinations, and procedures.
* Measure and record temperature, blood pressure, pulse, respiratory rate, and other vital signs.
* Recognise abnormal observations and promptly escalate concerns to the appropriate clinician.
* Assist physicians during examinations, treatments, and minor clinical procedures.
* Support ECG procedures, wound care, dressings, venipuncture, and blood sample collection within the authorised scope of practice.
* Help manage patients with diabetes, cardiac conditions, respiratory illnesses, and other chronic health needs.
* Maintain accurate, complete, and timely clinical records.
* Communicate patient observations and changes in condition to physicians and nursing colleagues.
* Respond to medical emergencies within the permitted scope and seek immediate senior assistance when required.
* Protect patient dignity, privacy, safety, confidentiality, and informed consent.
* Provide reassurance and emotional support to patients and their families.
* Follow infection-prevention, safeguarding, patient-safety, and clinical governance protocols.
* Prepare consultation and treatment areas before patient appointments.
* Clean, inspect, and support the safe operation of basic clinical equipment.
* Monitor medical supplies and assist with stock replenishment.
* Attend mandatory training, including Basic Life Support and emergency-response programmes.
* Participate in professional-development activities and clinical training.
* Contribute to an organised, respectful, and collaborative clinic environment.
Required Skills and Experience
* Diploma or bachelor\'s degree in nursing.
* Valid DHA Assistant Nurse licence or DHA eligibility is mandatory.
* Current Basic Life Support certification is mandatory.
* Minimum two years of experience in an Assistant Nurse or comparable clinical-support role.
* Previous clinic or outpatient healthcare experience is preferred.
* Experience in a dental clinic environment is highly desirable.
* Practical knowledge of vital-sign monitoring and basic patient assessments.
* Exposure to ECG support, wound care, dressings, venipuncture, and blood sampling.
* Sound understanding of infection-control and patient-safety procedures.
* Strong patient-care and clinical-support capabilities.
* Accurate computer, recordkeeping, and medical-documentation skills.

* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Fluency in English is required.
* Nepali language skills are highly preferred.
