Job Overview
The Assistant Nurse in Dubai will support physicians, dentists, and registered nurses in delivering safe and compassionate outpatient care at Al-Futtaim Health\'s Festival Plaza clinic. The role covers patient preparation, vital-sign monitoring, clinical assistance, documentation, infection control, and everyday clinic operations.
This hands-on nursing position requires DHA licensing or eligibility, valid Basic Life Support certification, and at least two years of relevant experience. Previous dental clinic experience is highly preferred due to the position\'s involvement in supporting dentists, examinations, and clinical procedures.

Core Duties
* Assist physicians, dentists, and
* Welcome patients and prepare them for consultations, assessments, examinations, and procedures.
* Measure and accurately record blood pressure, temperature, pulse, respiratory rate, and other vital signs.
* Identify abnormal observations and promptly escalate concerns to the appropriate clinician.
* Support physicians and dentists during examinations, treatments, and minor clinical procedures.
* Assist with ECG procedures, wound care, dressings, and other authorised clinical activities.
* Help care for patients with diabetes, respiratory illnesses, cardiac conditions, and other chronic health needs.
* Maintain complete, accurate, and timely clinical records.
* Communicate patient observations, concerns, and changes in condition to the clinical team.
* Protect patient dignity, privacy, confidentiality, consent, comfort, and safety.
* Respond to emergencies within the authorised scope of practice and immediately request senior assistance when necessary.
* Follow infection-prevention, safeguarding, patient-safety, and clinical governance protocols.
* Provide reassurance and emotional support to patients and family members.
* Prepare consultation rooms, treatment areas, instruments, and clinical equipment for daily use.
* Support the safe operation and basic maintenance of clinical equipment.
* Monitor medical and dental supplies and assist with stock replenishment.
* Attend mandatory Basic Life Support, emergency-response, and patient-safety training.
* Participate in continuing education and professional-development activities.
* Contribute to an organised, respectful, and collaborative clinic environment.
Ideal Profile
* Diploma or bachelor\'s degree in nursing.
* Valid DHA Assistant Nurse licence or DHA eligibility is mandatory.
* Current Basic Life Support certification is mandatory.
* Minimum two years of experience in an Assistant Nurse or similar clinical-support position.
* Previous experience in a clinic or outpatient healthcare environment is preferred.
* Dental clinic experience is highly desirable.
* Practical knowledge of vital-sign monitoring and basic patient assessments.
* Experience or exposure to ECG support, wound care, and dressings.
* Sound understanding of infection-control and patient-safety procedures.
* Strong clinical-support and patient-care capabilities.
* Accurate computer, recordkeeping, and medical-documentation skills.
* Ability to recognise clinical concerns and follow escalation procedures.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
* Fluency in English is required.
* Nepali language proficiency is highly preferred.

* Ability to remain organised while working in a fast-paced outpatient clinic.
