Position Overview
A Consultant Allergy and Immunology opportunity is available in Dubai, United Arab Emirates within the Hospital and Health Care industry for an experienced physician with dedicated specialist training in allergic and immunological disorders. The consultant will provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis, treatment, and long-term management of adult patients with allergies, immune disorders, and complex or refractory conditions.
The position requires recognized specialist or consultant-level qualifications in Allergy and Immunology. Candidates whose specialist training and professional licensing are limited to Infectious Diseases or Tropical Medicine do not meet the stated specialty requirement for this role.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide consultant-level assessment and management of patients with allergic and immunological disorders.
- Diagnose and manage allergic rhinitis, conjunctivitis, asthma, and allergic respiratory disease.
- Treat food allergies, drug allergies, urticaria, angioedema, and allergic skin disorders including atopic dermatitis.
- Manage anaphylaxis and other severe allergic reactions.
- Evaluate contact and environmental allergies.
- Diagnose and manage primary and secondary immunodeficiency disorders.
- Assess autoimmune and immune-mediated conditions where appropriate to the specialty.
- Perform and interpret allergy investigations within approved clinical privileges, including skin-prick testing and specific IgE testing.
- Develop individualized treatment and long-term management plans.
- Provide appropriate allergen avoidance, pharmacological treatment, and immunotherapy recommendations.
- Manage complex and refractory allergic conditions.
- Coordinate patient care with Pulmonology, Dermatology, ENT, Rheumatology, Pediatrics, and other relevant specialties.
- Educate patients and families about allergy prevention and emergency management.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
- Contribute to the development of Allergy and Immunology clinical pathways and protocols.
- Participate in teaching, training, and supervision of residents and junior physicians.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with applicable hospital policies and UAE healthcare regulations.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from a recognized medical school.
- Recognized postgraduate training in Allergy and Immunology or a relevant medical specialty.
- Recognized Board Certification, Specialist, or Consultant qualification in Allergy and Immunology.
- Fellowship or advanced formal training in Allergy and Immunology is highly desirable.
- Appropriate Consultant-level professional licensing or eligibility specifically covering Allergy and Immunology or Allergy.
- Candidates whose professional specialty recognition is limited to Infectious Diseases or Tropical Medicine are not suitable for this position.
Required Experience

- Demonstrated experience managing complex allergic and immunological conditions.
