Job Overview
* Conduct preoperative evaluations to assess patient risk and plan appropriate anesthesia care
* Administer general, regional, or local anesthesia to patients during surgical procedures
* Monitor patient vital signs and adjust anesthesia levels as needed throughout operations
* Collaborate with surgeons and operating room staff to ensure patient safety and comfort
* Manage postoperative recovery including pain control and monitoring for complications
* Supervise junior medical staff, residents, and anesthesia technicians
* Maintain accurate patient documentation and adhere to safety and infection control standards
* Stay updated on best practices and new advancements in anesthesiology
Job Requirements
Education and Experience
* Medical degree from a recognized institution
* Board certification in Anesthesiology
* Valid DHA license or eligibility to practice in Dubai
* Minimum 5 years of experience as an anesthesiologist, including surgical case management
Skills
* Proficient in modern anesthesia equipment and monitoring tools
* Strong decision-making and critical thinking abilities
* Effective communication skills for working with surgical teams and patients
* Ability to work under pressure in high-acuity settings
