Position Overview
The Consultant Breast Radiologist - Imaging Specialist role in Dubai UAE focuses on providing expert breast imaging services using advanced diagnostic technologies. This position plays a key role in early cancer detection, accurate diagnosis, and collaborative patient care within a multidisciplinary environment.
Core Duties
* Perform and interpret mammograms, breast ultrasounds, and breast MRI studies
* Conduct image-guided procedures including biopsies and needle localization
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop personalized treatment plans
* Provide consultations to referring physicians and participate in tumor boards
* Ensure accurate, timely, and high-quality reporting of imaging results
* Maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical medical practices
* Mentor junior radiologists and support continuous quality improvement initiatives
Required Skills and Experience
* Medical degree from a recognized institution
* Board certification in Diagnostic Radiology with subspecialty training in Breast Imaging
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Breast Radiologist
* Proficiency in 3D mammography and digital breast tomosynthesis
* Fluent in Arabic and English
* UAE license or eligibility preferred
* Western education or training required
