Allocation Assist Middle East is seeking an experienced Consultant Cardiologist with advanced training in Heart Failure for a full-time, on-site healthcare opportunity in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The consultant will provide comprehensive management of acute and chronic heart failure, cardiomyopathies, and other complex cardiovascular conditions.
The position has a strong focus on advanced heart failure care, including assessment for mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation where applicable. The consultant will work closely with multidisciplinary cardiac specialists and contribute to the development of advanced heart failure services.

Clinical Responsibilities
- Provide specialist consultation and comprehensive management for patients with acute and chronic heart failure.
- Diagnose and manage complex heart failure and cardiomyopathy cases.
- Manage patients with pulmonary hypertension.
- Provide care for heart failure with reduced, mildly reduced, and preserved ejection fraction.
- Assess appropriate patients for advanced heart failure therapies.
- Evaluate patients for mechanical circulatory support and heart transplantation where applicable.
- Provide outpatient heart failure clinics and inpatient consultation services.
- Perform and interpret appropriate cardiovascular investigations within professional privileges.
- Participate in multidisciplinary heart failure, cardiomyopathy, and transplant meetings.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation in accordance with applicable UAE regulatory and hospital requirements.
Advanced Heart Failure Care
The consultant will provide specialist assessment and management for patients with advanced or difficult-to-manage heart failure. Relevant clinical responsibilities may include:
- Advanced heart failure assessment
- Cardiomyopathy management
- Heart failure therapy optimization
- Mechanical circulatory support assessment
- LVAD-related evaluation and care where applicable
- Heart transplant assessment and management where applicable
- Pulmonary hypertension management
- Cardiac amyloidosis assessment
- Echocardiography and appropriate cardiac imaging within granted privileges
Multidisciplinary Cardiac Care
The Consultant Cardiologist will collaborate with cardiac surgeons, electrophysiologists, interventional cardiologists, intensivists, and other relevant specialists. This multidisciplinary approach will support coordinated management of complex and critically ill cardiac patients and those being considered for advanced heart failure therapies.
Qualifications
- Medical degree from a recognized medical school.
- Completed residency training in Internal Medicine.
- Completed accredited training in Cardiology or Cardiovascular Medicine.
- Board Certification or recognized Specialist or Consultant qualification in Cardiology.
- Additional fellowship or advanced training in Heart Failure or Advanced Heart Failure and Transplant Cardiology is highly desirable.
- Eligibility for appropriate Consultant-level medical licensing in Dubai.
