Position Overview
A Consultant Cardiologist - Cardiac CT Imaging opportunity is available in Dubai, United Arab Emirates within the Hospital and Health Care industry for an experienced cardiologist with dedicated fellowship or advanced training in Cardiac CT and Cardiovascular Imaging. The consultant will provide specialist imaging expertise supporting the diagnosis and management of coronary artery disease and other cardiovascular conditions.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide specialist consultation for patients requiring advanced cardiac imaging.
- Perform and interpret Cardiac CT and Coronary CT Angiography.
- Evaluate coronary artery disease, coronary anomalies, and coronary calcification.
- Perform CT assessment of cardiac and vascular structures when clinically indicated.
- Interpret coronary calcium scoring and CCTA studies.
- Support pre-procedural planning for structural and interventional cardiac procedures where applicable.
- Correlate Cardiac CT findings with patient history and other cardiovascular investigations.
- Collaborate with cardiologists, radiologists, cardiac surgeons, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Participate in multidisciplinary cardiovascular imaging meetings.
- Contribute to clinical protocols, quality improvement, and patient safety initiatives.
- Participate in teaching and mentoring residents, fellows, and junior physicians.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with applicable UAE healthcare requirements and hospital policies.
Qualifications and Requirements
- Medical degree from a recognized medical school.
- Completion of accredited Internal Medicine and Cardiology training.
- Board Certification or recognized Specialist or Consultant qualification in Cardiology.
- Fellowship or formal advanced training in Cardiac CT or Cardiovascular Imaging is required or strongly preferred.
- Additional certification or accreditation in Cardiovascular CT Imaging is desirable.
- Appropriate UAE professional license or eligibility for Consultant-level licensing in Dubai.
Required Experience
- Significant experience in Cardiovascular Imaging and Cardiac CT.
- Demonstrated independent experience interpreting Coronary CT Angiography.
- Experience using Cardiac CT for coronary artery disease assessment.
- Experience interpreting CT calcium scoring.
- Structural heart CT and pre-procedural planning experience is highly desirable.
- Experience working within a multidisciplinary cardiovascular imaging service.
