Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and manage acute and chronic dermatological conditions across children, adults, and elderly patients.
* Provide specialist care for skin, hair, nail, allergic, inflammatory, infectious, and cosmetic dermatology concerns.
* Perform advanced dermatologic procedures, including laser therapy, cryotherapy, skin lesion treatment, biopsies, and minor surgical procedures.
* Deliver cosmetic dermatology services within approved clinical scope and patient needs, while maintaining safe and ethical practice standards.
* Conduct detailed skin assessments, review patient history, interpret findings, and create individualized treatment plans.
* Collaborate with other specialists, nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals to support integrated care for patients with complex conditions.
* Communicate clearly in Arabic and English with patients and families, explaining diagnosis, treatment options, procedure risks, aftercare, and prevention guidance.
* Maintain accurate consultation notes, treatment records, procedure documentation, consent forms, and follow-up plans.
* Uphold patient safety, quality standards, infection control procedures, and clinical governance requirements.
* Participate in departmental audits, CME activities, case discussions, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
* Support training and mentoring of junior doctors, nurses, and clinical staff involved in dermatology services.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree with recognized specialization in Dermatology.
* Board certification or equivalent qualification in Dermatology.
* Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience as a Consultant Dermatologist.
* Fluency in Arabic and English is required.
* Strong experience in diagnosing and treating a broad range of medical and cosmetic dermatology conditions.
* Skilled in laser therapy, cryotherapy, minor dermatologic procedures, and patient-focused skin treatment planning.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a culturally sensitive approach to care.
* Ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary and multicultural healthcare environment.
* Experience in GCC healthcare systems is an advantage.
