Clinical Responsibilities
- Diagnose skin conditions through
physical examination and detailed review of patient medical history.
- Conduct appropriate dermatological diagnostic tests and procedures.
- Develop individualized treatment plans based on each patient\'s clinical needs and medical history.
- Manage a variety of skin conditions using appropriate medical and procedural treatments.
- Perform procedures including skin biopsies, excisions, and suturing.
- Prescribe appropriate medications and provide ongoing follow-up care.
- Educate patients about proper skin care and preventive measures.
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans when clinically appropriate.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient medical records.
- Follow applicable ethical and professional standards of medical practice.
Multidisciplinary Patient Care
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive and coordinated patient care.
- Communicate diagnoses, treatment options, and follow-up requirements clearly to patients.
- Contribute effectively within a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
- Maintain current knowledge of developments, techniques, and practices within dermatology.
Qualifications and Experience
- Medical degree in Dermatology from an accredited institution.
- Board certification or equivalent in Dermatology.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Dermatologist.
- Proven experience diagnosing and treating a variety of skin conditions.
- Valid medical license to practice in Dubai.
- Fluent in English.
- Knowledge of Arabic is an advantage.
