Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and treat a wide range of skin conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, pigmentation concerns, infections, and skin cancer-related cases.
* Perform detailed skin examinations, clinical assessments, dermoscopy where required, and skin biopsies to support accurate diagnosis.
* Administer specialized dermatology treatments such as chemical peels, laser therapy, phototherapy, and other approved medical or aesthetic skin procedures.
* Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient history, clinical findings, treatment goals, and safety considerations.
* Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans when needed to improve clinical outcomes.
* Collaborate with physicians, nurses, specialists, and allied healthcare professionals to manage patients with complex or multidisciplinary skin conditions.
* Educate patients on skincare routines, preventive measures, treatment expectations, medication use, and post-procedure care.
* Stay updated with current dermatology research, new technologies, treatment techniques, and evidence-based clinical practices.
* Train, guide, and supervise medical staff, including resident physicians, nurses, and clinic team members when required.
* Maintain accurate patient records and follow clinical protocols, ethical standards, and healthcare quality requirements.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree from an accredited institution.
* Board certification in Dermatology.
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Dermatologist.
* Western education or Western training is required.
* Strong knowledge of medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, skin cancer assessment, and procedural dermatology.
* Practical experience with skin biopsies, laser therapy, chemical peels, phototherapy, and personalized dermatology treatment plans.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to explain diagnoses and procedures clearly to patients.
* Strong leadership, organization, and clinical decision-making abilities.
