The Consultant Dermatologist will provide expert clinical care for patients with acute, chronic, cosmetic, and complex dermatological conditions. The role combines diagnostic accuracy, procedural skill, patient education, and leadership within a multidisciplinary healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and treat a broad range of skin, hair, and nail conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, pigmentation disorders, infections, allergies, and suspected skin cancers.
* Conduct detailed dermatological consultations, skin assessments, mole checks, and clinical examinations using appropriate diagnostic methods.
* Perform skin biopsies, minor dermatological procedures, and related diagnostic interventions with accuracy and patient safety.
* Administer or supervise advanced treatments such as chemical peels, laser therapy, phototherapy, and other specialist skin procedures when clinically appropriate.
* Develop personalized treatment plans based on patient history, clinical findings, diagnosis, lifestyle factors, and long-term skin health goals.
* Manage patients with complex dermatology needs in coordination with other physicians, surgeons, oncologists, allergists, and healthcare professionals.
* Educate patients on skin care routines, sun protection, disease prevention, medication use, treatment expectations, and follow-up care.
* Keep updated with current dermatology research, treatment guidelines, medical technologies, and procedural techniques.
* Train, supervise, and support resident physicians, nurses, and clinical staff involved in dermatology services.
* Maintain accurate medical records, procedure notes, treatment plans, consent documentation, and patient progress updates.
* Follow clinical governance, infection control, patient safety, and professional standards in all dermatology services.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree from an accredited institution.
* Board certification or equivalent specialist qualification in Dermatology.
* Minimum 5 years of experience working as a Consultant Dermatologist.
* Western education or Western clinical training is required.
* Strong clinical knowledge of medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, skin cancer screening, dermatological procedures, and patient-centered treatment planning.
* Proven ability to diagnose and manage common and complex skin conditions across different age groups and skin types.
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain conditions, procedures, treatment options, and preventive care clearly to patients.
* Professional, empathetic, and confident approach when dealing with sensitive skin concerns and long-term treatment cases.
* Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide medical staff, support service quality, and contribute to clinical improvement.
