Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and manage a wide range of dermatological conditions, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, pigmentation disorders, infections, allergies, and suspected skin cancer.
* Perform detailed skin examinations, dermatoscopy where appropriate, skin biopsies, lesion assessment, and follow-up reviews for patients requiring specialist dermatology care.
* Develop personalized treatment plans using evidence-based medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, procedural care, and long-term skin health management.
* Administer or supervise specialized dermatology treatments such as chemical peels, laser therapy, phototherapy, minor skin procedures, and other clinically suitable interventions.
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to support patients with complex skin conditions, systemic disease-related dermatology concerns, or multidisciplinary care needs.
* Educate patients on skincare routines, prevention strategies, sun protection, medication use, treatment expectations, and long-term condition management.
* Stay updated with new dermatology research, treatment techniques, laser technologies, cosmetic procedures, and international clinical guidelines.
* Train and supervise resident physicians, nurses, and medical staff involved in dermatology services.
* Maintain accurate clinical records, treatment notes, consent documentation, biopsy reports, procedure details, and follow-up plans.
* Support patient safety, quality improvement, ethical practice, and service development within the dermatology department.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree from an accredited institution.
* Board certification in Dermatology from a recognized authority.
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Dermatologist.
* Western education or Western training is required.
* Strong knowledge of medical dermatology, cosmetic dermatology, skin cancer screening, laser treatments, phototherapy, and minor dermatologic procedures.
* Confident in diagnosing and treating common and complex skin, hair, nail, and mucosal conditions.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional and empathetic patient-care approach.
* Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
* Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare teams in a multicultural clinical environment.
