Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose, manage, and treat dermatological
conditions including acne, eczema, psoriasis, vitiligo, and skin cancers.
- Conduct detailed skin examinations and perform dermoscopy and skin biopsies where clinically indicated.
- Perform dermatological procedures including laser therapy, chemical peels, cryotherapy, and phototherapy.
- Develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans according to each patient\'s clinical needs.
- Provide high standards of clinical care while maintaining patient safety and confidentiality.
- Educate patients about skincare, prevention, treatment adherence, and long-term management strategies.
- Collaborate with other medical specialties in the management of complex dermatological cases.
- Supervise, train, and mentor junior doctors, residents, and nursing staff.
- Maintain current knowledge of developments in dermatology and aesthetic medicine.
- Participate in clinical governance, audits, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications and Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized and accredited institution.
- Board Certification in Dermatology is mandatory.
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Dermatologist.
- Strong clinical experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology.
- Proficiency in dermatological procedures and modern treatment techniques.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong commitment to patient-centered care.
- Western education or training is highly preferred or may be required according to applicable licensing criteria.
- Appropriate UAE professional license or eligibility for Consultant-level licensing in Dubai.
