The Consultant Endocrinologist plays a critical role in improving long-term patient outcomes through accurate diagnosis, specialist treatment planning, and chronic disease management for endocrine system disorders. This position supports preventive healthcare, patient education, and multidisciplinary collaboration to ensure sustainable health improvement across diverse patient groups.
Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive consultations and specialist treatment for patients with endocrine disorders and metabolic conditions
* Perform detailed physical examinations and review patient history, laboratory reports, and diagnostic investigations
* Diagnose and manage diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal disease, pituitary conditions, obesity, osteoporosis, and hormonal imbalances
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient-specific clinical needs and evidence-based endocrinology protocols
* Monitor treatment progress and adjust medications, therapies, and management plans as required
* Educate patients and families on disease prevention, self-care, medication compliance, and long-term lifestyle management
* Collaborate with cardiology, nephrology, internal medicine, and other specialists for coordinated patient care
* Stay updated on advancements in endocrinology treatments and clinical best practices
* Participate in medical conferences, audits, and continuing medical education programs
* Ensure full compliance with medical laws, hospital regulations, and ethical standards
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree from a recognized accredited university
* Board Certification in Endocrinology is mandatory
* Valid UAE license or eligibility to practice as a Consultant Endocrinologist
* Minimum 5 years of Consultant-level endocrinology experience
* Fluent in Arabic and English with excellent patient communication skills
* Strong diagnostic abilities and advanced clinical decision-making skills
* Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary healthcare teams
