Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive consultations for patients with endocrine disorders, including diabetes, thyroid conditions, metabolic disease, adrenal disorders, pituitary concerns, and hormonal imbalance.
* Conduct detailed physical examinations, review medical history, interpret diagnostic tests, and assess patient symptoms to support accurate diagnosis.
* Develop individualized treatment plans based on patient needs, laboratory results, risk factors, lifestyle, medical history, and long-term health goals.
* Monitor patient progress, review response to treatment, and adjust medication or care plans when clinically required.
* Educate patients and families in Arabic and English on disease management, medication use, lifestyle changes, self-care, glucose monitoring, and follow-up requirements.
* Collaborate with internists, dietitians, diabetes educators, cardiologists, nephrologists, gynecologists, surgeons, nurses, and other healthcare professionals for coordinated care.
* Manage chronic endocrine conditions with a focus on prevention, patient compliance, complication reduction, and long-term wellbeing.
* Stay updated on developments in endocrinology, diabetes technology, thyroid management, metabolic medicine, and international treatment guidelines.
* Participate in medical conferences, CME activities, clinical discussions, and continuous professional development programs.
* Maintain accurate patient records, consultation notes, prescriptions, investigation results, treatment plans, and follow-up documentation.
* Adhere to UAE healthcare regulations, medical ethics, patient confidentiality standards, and hospital clinical protocols.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree from an accredited university.
* Board certification in Endocrinology from a recognized authority.
* Valid UAE license or eligibility to practice as a Consultant Endocrinologist.
* Minimum 5 years of experience as a Consultant Endocrinologist.
* Fluent Arabic and English communication skills are required.
* Additional language skills are an advantage.
* Strong diagnostic and clinical skills across diabetes, thyroid disease, metabolic disorders, and hormonal conditions.
* Ability to create practical and patient-centered treatment plans for acute and chronic endocrine cases.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to patient care.
* Ability to work effectively with multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
