The Consultant Endocrinologist - Arabic will provide
advanced endocrine care for patients with diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal and pituitary diseases, metabolic concerns, hormonal imbalance, and related chronic conditions. The role supports high-quality specialist care in a modern healthcare environment where accurate diagnosis, culturally sensitive Arabic communication, long-term treatment planning, and multidisciplinary coordination are essential. The consultant will help improve patient outcomes through personalized care pathways, patient education, clinical governance, and evidence-based endocrine practice.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and manage endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid disease, adrenal disorders, pituitary conditions, hormonal imbalance, and complex metabolic health concerns.
* Conduct detailed endocrine consultations using medical history, physical examination, risk assessment, laboratory review, imaging findings, and patient-specific clinical factors.
* Develop personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based endocrinology protocols, patient lifestyle, comorbidities, medication history, and long-term health goals.
* Interpret hormonal assays, endocrine laboratory investigations, imaging reports, and related diagnostic results to guide accurate diagnosis and treatment decisions.
* Provide specialist care for diabetes management, insulin therapy, thyroid dysfunction, adrenal and pituitary disease, and endocrine-related complications.
* Conduct endocrine procedures within scope of practice and coordinate further diagnostic or interventional care when required.
* Deliver culturally sensitive counseling and patient education in Arabic and English, ensuring patients understand diagnosis, medication use, lifestyle changes, and follow-up needs.
* Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including primary care physicians, diabetologists, dietitians, radiologists, surgeons, nurses, and allied healthcare professionals.
* Monitor treatment response, medication safety, disease progression, metabolic control, and patient adherence through structured follow-up.
* Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement programs, research activity, case discussions, and continuing medical education.
* Maintain accurate consultation notes, investigation reviews, care plans, medication records, patient education details, and follow-up documentation in line with DHA regulations and hospital policies.
* Support patient safety, confidentiality, ethical medical practice, and continuous improvement in endocrine service delivery.
Ideal Profile
* Medical Degree such as MD, MBBS, or equivalent from a recognized institution.
* American Board Certification in Endocrinology is required.
* DHA Eligibility Letter, valid DHA License, or eligibility for Consultant licensure in Dubai.
* Minimum 5 years of post-board experience in Endocrinology within a hospital, specialty clinic, or advanced healthcare setting.
* Fluency in Arabic, both spoken and written, is required.
* Strong English communication skills for clinical documentation and multidisciplinary coordination.
* Proven experience managing diabetes, thyroid disorders, adrenal disease, pituitary disease, hormonal imbalance, and complex endocrine cases.
