Role Context
This position supports patients with diabetes, thyroid conditions, adrenal
disorders, pituitary diseases, and other complex endocrine concerns. The consultant will guide clinical decisions from initial assessment through long-term disease management, helping improve treatment outcomes, patient understanding, and continuity of specialist care.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and manage acute and chronic endocrine disorders using current clinical evidence.
* Design individualized treatment pathways based on laboratory findings, imaging, medical history, and patient needs.
* Interpret hormonal assays, diagnostic imaging, and other specialist investigations.
* Perform appropriate endocrine procedures within the approved scope of practice.
* Coordinate care with internal medicine, radiology, surgery, nutrition, and other clinical teams.
Patient consultations must include clear Arabic communication, practical education, and culturally sensitive guidance.
* Monitor therapeutic response and adjust medication or management plans when clinically required.
* Maintain precise medical records and follow institutional quality and patient-safety standards.
* Contribute to clinical audits, research initiatives, case discussions, and continuing medical education activities.
Ideal Profile
The successful candidate will hold an MD or equivalent medical qualification with American Board Certification in Endocrinology. Fluency in spoken and written Arabic is essential, along with at least five years of post-board experience gained in a hospital or specialist clinic. Strong diagnostic judgment, ethical decision-making, and the ability to explain complex conditions clearly are important for this appointment.
