A Consultant Endocrinologist opportunity is available in Dubai, United Arab Emirates for an experienced physician specializing in endocrine and metabolic disorders. The consultant will diagnose and manage conditions including diabetes mellitus, thyroid disease, adrenal and pituitary disorders, osteoporosis, obesity, and other metabolic conditions. The role combines inpatient and outpatient endocrinology care with advanced diabetes management, patient counselling, multidisciplinary collaboration, and evidence-based long-term treatment planning.

Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage endocrine and metabolic disorders including diabetes mellitus, thyroid diseases, adrenal disorders, pituitary
disorders, osteoporosis, obesity, and related metabolic conditions.
- Conduct comprehensive endocrine assessments and interpret hormonal and metabolic investigations.
- Develop individualized treatment strategies and long-term management plans according to patients\' clinical needs.
- Provide inpatient and outpatient endocrinology consultations.
- Deliver advanced diabetes management, including insulin therapy, continuous glucose monitoring systems, and lifestyle counselling.
- Collaborate with internal medicine physicians, nephrologists, cardiologists, dietitians, bariatric teams, and other multidisciplinary healthcare professionals.
- Educate patients and families about disease management, prevention, lifestyle modifications, and treatment adherence.
- Maintain accurate and timely medical documentation in accordance with applicable healthcare regulations and hospital policies.
- Participate in clinical audits, quality improvement initiatives, research, and continuing medical education.
- Maintain appropriate patient safety and infection control standards.
Qualifications and Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree.
- Board Certification or Fellowship in Endocrinology.
- Appropriate Consultant-level professional license or eligibility for medical licensing in Dubai.
- Minimum 5-7 years of post-board consultant experience in Endocrinology within a reputable tertiary care or academic hospital.
- Strong expertise in diabetes and endocrine disorder management.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and patient counselling skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with advanced diabetes technologies and insulin pump therapy.
- Experience in obesity medicine and metabolic disorders.
- Academic and research experience is an advantage.
- Arabic language skills are preferred.
