Role Context
This role is critical in delivering comprehensive ear, nose, and throat care, including advanced surgical interventions and long-term patient management. The Consultant will play a key role in improving patient outcomes through accurate diagnosis, effective treatment planning, and collaboration with multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and manage ENT conditions such as sinusitis, hearing loss, sleep apnea, and head and neck disorders
* Perform surgical procedures including tonsillectomy, septoplasty, sinus surgery, and reconstructive interventions
* Interpret diagnostic tests such as imaging scans, audiograms, and endoscopic findings
* Provide both outpatient consultations and inpatient care
* Collaborate with audiologists, speech therapists, and other specialists for integrated treatment
* Participate in clinical audits, case discussions, and protocol development
* Maintain accurate patient documentation and follow evidence-based practices
Ideal Profile
* Board-certified in Otolaryngology from a recognized authority
* Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience in a hospital setting
* Strong surgical and diagnostic expertise across ENT subspecialties
* Experience managing both adult and pediatric cases
* Excellent communication and patient management skills
* Eligible for UAE DHA licensing
