Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and manage a broad range of ear, nose, and throat disorders affecting adult and adolescent patients.
- Evaluate patients requiring functional, reconstructive, or cosmetic nasal surgery.
- Perform functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty procedures.
- Undertake septoplasty and septorhinoplasty according to clinical indications.
- Perform functional endoscopic sinus surgery.
- Provide nasal reconstruction following trauma or disease.
- Manage nasal airway obstruction, deviated nasal septum, chronic sinus disease, nasal trauma, and congenital nasal deformities.
- Conduct comprehensive pre-operative assessments and provide appropriate post-operative care.
- Counsel patients regarding available treatment options, anticipated outcomes, and surgical risks.
- Perform and interpret nasal endoscopy and review CT imaging and other relevant diagnostic investigations.
- Collaborate with plastic surgeons, maxillofacial surgeons, anesthesiologists, radiologists, and other specialists to support coordinated patient care.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and comply with applicable quality and patient safety standards.
- Participate in multidisciplinary meetings, clinical audits, research, teaching, and continuing medical education.
- Maintain current knowledge of advances in rhinoplasty techniques and ENT practice.
Qualifications and Requirements
- MBBS or equivalent medical degree from a recognized institution.
- Completion of specialist training in Otolaryngology or ENT.
- Fellowship, subspecialty training, or significant professional experience in Rhinoplasty is required.
- Western-trained education and-or clinical experience from the UK, USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand, or equivalent is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of post-specialization experience as a Consultant ENT Surgeon within a reputable tertiary-care hospital.
- Appropriate UAE professional license or eligibility for Consultant-level licensing in Dubai.
- Proven expertise in functional and cosmetic rhinoplasty and advanced nasal surgery.
- Excellent communication, clinical judgment, and interpersonal skills.
