Key Responsibilities
* Provide comprehensive family medicine care for patients of all ages, including children, adults, and elderly patients.
* Focus on disease prevention, health promotion, early diagnosis, long-term wellness, and continuity of care.
* Conduct routine check-ups, medical assessments, screening reviews, and clinical consultations to identify health risks or underlying concerns.
* Develop individualized healthcare plans using a holistic approach that considers physical, psychological, social, and lifestyle factors.
* Diagnose and manage common acute illnesses, chronic diseases, preventive care needs, and ongoing primary healthcare concerns.
* Communicate clearly in Arabic and English with patients and families to explain diagnosis, treatment plans, medication use, lifestyle changes, and follow-up requirements.
* Work closely with nurses, specialists, allied health professionals, and administrative teams to coordinate complete and effective patient care.
* Stay informed about current developments in family medicine and apply relevant evidence-based practices to improve clinical outcomes.
* Maintain accurate medical records, consultation notes, prescriptions, test results, referral details, and follow-up plans.
* Follow UAE medical regulations, ethical standards, patient confidentiality requirements, and internal clinical protocols.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree from a recognized medical school.
* Completion of a residency program in Family Medicine.
* Western training is required.
* Minimum 5 years of post-residency experience in Family Medicine.
* Board-certified or board-eligible in Family Medicine.
* Proficiency in Arabic and English is required.
* Strong experience in preventive care, chronic disease management, family healthcare, screening, and patient education.
* Excellent understanding of patient-centered care and the ability to demonstrate it in daily clinical practice.
* Strong relationship-building skills with patients, families, medical teams, and administration.
* Ability to work effectively in a multicultural and multidisciplinary healthcare environment.
