Key Responsibilities
* Diagnose and treat a wide range of breast-related conditions, including benign tumors, malignant tumors, breast cancer, breast lumps, and related surgical cases.
* Perform advanced breast surgery procedures such as mastectomy, lumpectomy, breast-conserving surgery, and reconstructive procedures.
* Provide oncologic and reconstructive surgical care while ensuring safe clinical planning and strong patient outcomes.
* Collaborate with oncologists, radiologists, pathologists, plastic surgeons, anesthetists, nurses, and other specialists to develop comprehensive treatment plans.
* Deliver pre-operative assessment, surgical counseling, post-operative care, wound review, and recovery monitoring.
* Use minimally invasive and robotic-assisted surgical techniques where clinically appropriate and available.
* Educate patients and families in Arabic and English on treatment options, surgical risks, recovery expectations, preventive care, and follow-up needs.
* Stay updated with current developments in breast surgery, surgical oncology, reconstructive procedures, and advanced surgical technologies.
* Maintain accurate medical records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, facility policies, and clinical governance standards.
* Participate in multidisciplinary case discussions, quality initiatives, clinical audits, and continuous medical education activities.
Ideal Profile
* Medical degree from an accredited institution.
* Board certification in General Surgery with specialization or strong focused experience in Breast Surgery.
* Minimum 5-10 years of experience in breast surgery.
* Strong expertise in oncologic breast surgery and reconstructive breast procedures.
* Fluent Arabic communication skills are essential, including spoken and written Arabic.
* Western medical training is preferred.
* Practical knowledge of minimally invasive surgery, robotic-assisted techniques, and advanced surgical technologies is an advantage.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a compassionate approach to sensitive patient care.
